The basis of a nutritional consultation
is to:
- Relate healthy eating goals to actual food choices
- Understand the role that diet plays in sports performance
- Develop an exercise programme to promote fat and weight loss
- Understand the role of fat in the diet & how it impacts
on weight loss
Moderate exercise does not usually increase appetite but may
actually help to control it. People who exercise regularly are
more likely to keep the weight from coming back after losing it.
