In the UK, Cardiac Rehabilitation
is traditionally described in terms of phases of recovery;
Phase I is the inpatient stage, Phase II the early discharge
period, Phase III is a clinically supervised outpatient
programme and Phase IV is the long term maintenance
of physical activity and lifestyle change.
Cardiac Rehabilitation — also called Cardiac
Rehab — is a customized program of exercise and
education.
Cardiac Rehabilitation helps you to rebuild your life,
both physically and emotionally. As you get stronger
and learn how to manage your condition, you'll likely
return to a normal routine and enjoy life more.
It's important to know that your chances of having
a successful cardiac rehab programme rest largely with
you; the more dedicated you are to following your programme's
recommendations, the better you'll do. Cardiac Rehabilitation
programmes significantly increase your chances of survival
Participants are asked to complete a Pre
Assessment Questionnaire before starting any of
our programmes.
