Cardiac Rehabilitation

In the UK, Cardiac Rehabilitation is traditionally described in terms of phases of recovery; Phase I is the inpatient stage, Phase II the early discharge period, Phase III is a clinically supervised outpatient programme and Phase IV is the long term maintenance of physical activity and lifestyle change.

Cardiac Rehabilitation — also called Cardiac Rehab — is a customized program of exercise and education.

Cardiac Rehabilitation helps you to rebuild your life, both physically and emotionally. As you get stronger and learn how to manage your condition, you'll likely return to a normal routine and enjoy life more.

It's important to know that your chances of having a successful cardiac rehab programme rest largely with you; the more dedicated you are to following your programme's recommendations, the better you'll do. Cardiac Rehabilitation programmes significantly increase your chances of survival

Participants are asked to complete a Pre Assessment Questionnaire before starting any of our programmes.

If you live in the Northwich or Winsford areas of Cheshire and are interested in an individual developed Cardiac Rehabilitation programme by a qualified BACR Phase IV Exercise Instructor then please contact Barbara by email or telephone on 07768 067914.
